Detta examensarbete är utfört på Institutionen för teknik och naturvetenskap på Linköpings universitet som en avslutade del av mina studier i Medie- och Kommunikationsteknik. Målet med examensarbetet vär att utveckla ett datorspel med Macromedia Director i vilket man kan spela mot andra spelare över Internet.Examensarbetet ska också resultera i en presentation av några av de tillgängliga metoderna för att skapa nätverksapplikationer med Macromedia Director.Rapporten inleds med en teoridel som beskriver Macromedia Director och vad det kan användas till, samt en redovisning av olika metoder för att skapa nätverksapplikationer i Macromedia Director. This 3d navigation application is a part of a project that helps the user to learn and find the right position on a map with many exercises, the user has a compass nearby that he/she can use to find the position that requires to get the right answer on that particular exercise. Macromedia's Director is used for the creating of the program, where Lingo has a importent part as the script language for the scenes in Director. A 3D scene is build up with codes in Lingo, a few 3d models and serveral overlays are created and displayed on the screen. Different kind of textures from pict files are is representing the overlays and put on the 3D models. That give the user a more pleasant experience when going through the exercises that helpes the user when he/she is going to navigate on a boat at sea..

This degree project is made for Sundbyholms Golf&Country Club in Eskilstuna. The aim of the report is to produce a website which include a golf course interactive guide and an online game. Programs that have been used during the project are Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Director, Discreet 3DS Max and the plug-in 3DS Max Exporter. The choice of programs are based on experience and knowledge from the university education Media and Communication Engineering at Linköping University. The golf course guide contains a 2D-guide (image) and a 3D-guide (interactive image).

Denna rapport beskriver utvecklingen av examensarbetet som utfördes på uppdrag av BrandEx Brandtätningar AB. Ett företag som brandskyddar byggnader, fartyg, oljeplattformar med mera. En officiell webbsida och en CD-ROM-produktion skapades åt företaget. Webbsidan konstruerades i webbredigeringsprogrammet Macromedia Dreamweaver 4 och CD-ROM-produktionen i multimedieprogrammet Macromedia Director 7. Det använda materialet innehöll bilder och PDF-filer som BrandEx hade i sitt arkiv, men mycket nytt skapades, exempelvis animeringar och egna musikstycken.

Denna rapport visar hur en reklamfilm för en specifik produkt har utvecklats, i form av en CD-ROM-produktion. Företaget Alding AB har efterfrågat reklamfilmen för sin produkt Alding Webshop Maker 1.3. Flera olika programvaror har använts vid genomförandet, varav ljudredigeringsprogrammet Sonic Foundry Sound Forge 5.0 och bildredigeringsprogrammet Adobe Photoshop 5.5 hör till de mest frekvent använda. Med hjälp av programmet Macromedia Director 7.0 har sammanställningen av reklamfilmen utförts. Rapporten behandlar de olika problem som uppstått under arbetets gång samt hur de har kunnat undanröjas.

Interaktiv 3d-grafik är ett område som i dagsläget genomgår stora förändringar med ständigt ökad efterfrågan. Tack vare förbättrad mjuk- och hårdvara går det idag att åstadkomma saker som bara för ett par år sedan var fiktion. Syftet med rapporten är att dokumentera dessa möjligheter genom att undersöka grunderna för hantering och manipulering av 3d-modeller i programvaran Macromedia Director 8.5, samt implementera denna kunskap i en interaktiv 3d- applikation. 3d-grafik som används i Director är polygonbaserad och renderas i realtid på användarens dator. Moduleringen av 3d-grafiken kan utföras på två sätt, antingen i programmeringsspråket Lingo eller via fristående program.

Detta examensarbete behandlar den rad av arbete som utvecklare måste gå igenom för att producera användbarhetsanpassade flash-baserade webbplatser. Rapportens mål är att få utvecklare att förstå vikten av att alltid tänka på besökaren i utvecklingsprocessen och på så sätt hjälpa till att förbättra flash-baserat innehåll generellt.Trots att många kritiker anser att flash-baserade webbplatser inte är bra ur användbarhetssyfte visar denna rapport att det är högst möjligt att skapa användbarhetsanpassade flash-sidor för besökarna med hjälp av Macromedia Flashs eget programmeringsspråk actionscript.Denna rapport innefattar också en webbaserad mall med alla de tekniska lösningarna som nämns i texten för att utvecklare enkelt skall kunna följa varje steg i utvecklingsprocessen..

This text deals with the shooting of a movie comedy. The author of this text was script writer as well as director. The film was extremely dependent upon the interpretation of the role of the leading female character, but the director and the leading actress, in spite of their willingness to cooperate, were unable to understand each other, and no creative meeting ever occurred.The film dealt, in amused distance, with male and female strategies and shortcomings, but the lack of understanding between the director and the leading actress caused the subtleties of the text disappear, so that when the film was ready it was possible to interpret it in a way that partly opposed its intentions.From the director?s point of view different aspects of the situation are investigated: what could she /should she have done? What are the obstacles for a better understanding? Is ?understanding? dependant only upon that which is verbal? Should the director not only be a director but also a kind of therapist? What is professional and what is private? Could a director who wasn´t also the script writer have seen other solutions? And how does it affect you as a female director never to have role models, only a very clear idea of what you don?t want your professional role to look like.The director thought she was being constantly compromising, but finds out she was not, she had only a different, and in appearance, friendly but manipulative strategy in trying to reach her goal: that of enforcing and implementing her personal interpretation of the script. The role of director is also a role, and must be played.

Litorapid Media AB is a printer and prepresscompany, located on Hisingen, Gothenburg. Litorapid is a relatively large company, and is therefore in great need of convenient contacts with becoming and present customers. Seeing that they work with the most rescent technique in the branch of printing, it is important that they market themselves in a modern way. The purpose with this project became, for that reason, to create a more contemporary home page for the company to catch new customers, as well as aninteractive presentation of the company to create a more personal contact with customers they alreay have. The home page was created in the programme Macromedia Dreamweaver 4, and its design is based on previouly distributed brochures.

The purpose of this report is to answer the question:How do you create a media player that can stream music for a website?We started the work by searching the web and reading books about the subjectand found several technologies to use to stream media files over the internet.We decided upon using the http protocol and created the media player itself inMacromedia Flash.The website is mostly developed with PHP, JavaScript and CSS templates andthe websites design was created with Macromedia Dreamweaver and AdobePhotoshop. The network with its virtual business structure challenge the established vertical business structure. Part of the network theory that has developed focuses on relationships that forms B2Bnetworks. One way to create a B2B-network is for independent businesses to form a organization promoting co-operation. For co-operation to be successful it requires well thought-out actions, but a lack of how these actions are implemented have been noticed. This study explores how encouragement of co-operation can be done practically.
